Hi and welcome! Thank you for checking out our site! I'll just get right into it. I began my journey to become a hairstylist as long as I can remember. I learned how to braid in kindergarten and had an exceptional capacity to learn all things hair for hours on end from a very young age. Fast forward to when I lost my bilingual human resources/account manager job in 2007. I decided to finally set out to do what I had dreamt of my entire life, Cosmetology! I graduated 2012 and began my career at City Looks Salon and Spa which later became known as Elevate. After 8 years I decided to try my hand at being an Independent Stylist vs commission. This meant I had to find a different salon. 2 weeks after making the leap, the Pandemic happened. But not only did I survive, I thrived. I have worked very hard at being known in the area as the "go to curly stylist" as well as "bridal". I have a 5 star reputation built on trust, consistency, and ethics. I opened this salon because I wanted to create a new kind of salon where every chapter of a stylist's career is encouraged with love and support under the same roof. I am passionate about what I do and have become equally passionate over the years about empowering other stylists and women to become the best versions of themselves. My journey hasn't been easy (to say the least), but I love sharing my story because each time I do, I learn a little more about myself while simultaneously giving others hope/awareness that everyone has their own story to tell. I also very much enjoy hearing other people's stories. We can talk about more gentle topics if life is just too overwhelming. Or even nothing at all. You will always feel comfortable being you in my chair no matter who you are.
